Drawing Review Maintenance and Management
Ensure your drawings and data are accurate
What is Drawing Review Maintenance and Management?
Your buildings, the MEP services within them and their use can change both frequently and quickly. These changes need to be reflected in your drawings and data as soon as those changes are made, as incorrect data can lead to unnecessary spending, increased risk or poor performance within your teams.
Why choose Sircle?
The key to successful drawing maintenance and management is consistency. We also understand that staff changes occur regularly, making it difficult for you to find that consistency in-house. CAD teams either change, or the roles become diluted as they are pulled into projects and asked to support designs etc. Their focus quickly becomes less and less on drawing maintenance.
At Sircle, we won’t allocate a single person to the project; we allocate a team to ensure consistency. This means should your nominated contact not be available, the team behind them will be fully aware of the project, the process and requirements and will react, giving you the consistency needed.
Our drawing review maintenance and management programme incorporates a range of different services designed to keep your drawings and data updated and accurate.
Our drawing review service works with you to produce a detailed drawing register allowing you to fully understand the information you have on your estates and unlock the value of drawings thought long lost. Typically, our clients have a wide range of disparate drawings stored in a wide range of locations and rarely shared amongst stakeholders. These can be hard copy drawings in drawing tanks in boiler rooms, PDF’s stored on local PC’s or hard drives or within O&M Manuals, or have thousands of different CAD files all over the place in various folders.
Our team will bring these together into a single location, scanning or converting drawings where necessary, adding each into a simple to use excel register that can be filtered by site, block, floor and MEP service, i.e. HVAC, Piped services, Natural Gas, Medical Gas, Steam, Drainage, etc. This allows you to unlock the value of the drawings and keep a visual record of changes. Even drawings that you thought were out of date still have value.
Our Drawing Management service will ensure your drawings and the valuable information remains up to date and provides a return on their investment. We will work with you to establish an agreed CAD standard, update process and management system that ensures that these are captured whenever a change is made. The master drawings are updated and then shared amongst the relevant stakeholders. This service is bespoke to each client and can include CAD bureau services, ongoing site audits, CAFM population, drawing hosting and more.
“The reports and photo evidence produced have shown us what needs to be dealt with fast, helping us to protect the safety of our staff, patients and visitors and organise our budget. The drawings are easy to understand, which helps us with our day-to-day duties.”
